Betaplex Gentle Foaming Cleanser contains a gentle combination of alpha and beta hydroxy acids in an oil-free, lightly foaming gel designed to remove oils, grime and surface dead skin build-up. The alpha hydroxy acids help stimulate new skin cells to the surface by encouraging dry, lifeless old cells to fall away. This peeling and stimulating process helps restore youthful looking translucency, smoothness and color to the skin. Contains 1% alpha and beta hydroxy acids. Contains lactic acid. A naturally occurring alpha hydroxy acid found sour milk and fermented products. Contains cucumber extract. Reputedly used by Cleopatra to preserve her skin, the cucumber’s potency in worldwide, traditional skin-care preparations is extraordinary. It’s juices have been used for over a thousand years against wrinkles, lines, freckles, blemishes, sunburn and dry skin. Cucumber is a natural astringent and helps tighten pores.
