One small warning: although many of the recipes belong to traditional aromatherapy--meant to soothe the skin, relieve stress, and refresh the mind--a few make claims for positive medical effects, such as those intended to cure cystitis or genital lesions. To the author's credit, she does state that aromatic remedies should not replace a visit to the doctor but can be used in conjunction with professional medical care.
