Eight volumes of books, as well as updated formulations from a large and diverse set of manufacturers, make up this database of formulations for the cosmetics and toiletries market. With well over 10,000 formulations, this is the largest single source of information available anywhere.
Each formula contains a listing of raw ingredients; the percent weight of each ingredient; and is identified by a description of end use in the manufacturer's own words. Over 15 broad categories comprising soaps, antiperspirants, creams, shampoos, and sun care products are included. More specific products can then be found within each broad category. Trade names, suppliers, and raw material descriptions are also available. In addition to being fully keyword searchable, the CD can be searched by text and numeric fields such as product category, supplier, weight, and others.
