Highly recommend! Bought this book to replace the lost version I relied upon a decade ago, to resculpt my body. Joyce Vedral knows what she is doing! You really can look and feel wonderful - at any age- even if you don't have a model's body type.

I purchased this book when it first came out. The exercises can be modified at home and for the gym. The diet suggestions are not for everyone, but if you work it, it works.

My mom used to be in the best shape. Her arms and legs were toned &sexy! I asked her what she used to get her physique back in the day. She told me she used this book. Im 3 weeks into it and my arms are already toning up! So insane. If you stick to it and are ready to adjust your lifestyle, read this book! Arm day lowk my fav. It’s nice to just focus on yourself for 20 min a day. Confidence is growing, I feel healthier and I’m excited! So many adjustments for when you reach a plateau. Please buy this book!

It's is so great to find this book again. I had it originally 30ish years ago. Lost it in a house fire 13 years ago. So glad to have it back.

Buying this book is like reconnecting with a long lost friend! I used to religiously exercise from this book when I was in middle school and high school. I never had a problem maintaining a healthy weight and staying slim. It was only after I stopped weight training with this book that I started to put on weight and went up about 3 dress sizes. I plan to use heavy weight so I can increase my muscle mass but stay slim at the same time. If you're a woman, don't use weights that are too light for you! It will result in very little muscle progress. Using heavy weight does not bulk you up like a man. It will give you the toned, healthy look we all want.

I love this book as It has helped me become fitter and lose excess fat.The exercises are explained clearly and even novices will be able to follow the instructions.They are strenuous but not tooo strenuous ,and you can decide which option to use.Can recommend the book to anyone who wants to do as much for their body as they can ,but doesn't have a lot of time.These exercises are done in 20 minutes per day. One day the upper body and the next day the lower half.But pls don't make the mistake I did and do too much too soon.I felt muscles that I was not aware I had ,ouch! So, easy does it and the results are well worth it.

I started working out half-hearted.I just kept going without thinking about it too much.I would wake up in the morning,grab my dumbells and start knocking myself.I was putting my alarm to make sure I am inside the time limits.The first 3weeks I was a slow motion.Meaning always I had to add time in my set.Later on as I got familiar with the exercise I was finishing on time.But don't get discouraged if you don't manage to complete the set.Take small steps each time.Now about the book.It has photos for each exercise and description of each .Veery helpful for someone that doesn't have a clue about gym.Veery cheap for someone that can't afford the gym's fees.Veery efficient for people that have busy life's.Literally I was doing my workout in the view of no one in 30min.Your fat starts melting..your energy returns..your skin radiance is obvious,amazing transformation!!!I was size 14 when I started and I was eating everything.After almost 5months,maybe a bit less i was a size 8.Enormous drop.I remember that when I tried my trousers which I hadn't wore for a long time,they were falling!I had to put a belt.It was sagging from everywhere.The same with my skirt.I could twist it all around!!My metabolism had changed dramatically!!I became lean.It gave me a fresh air of youth.My mother with my auntie commented me that I looked as well a bit taller.My body became lean like ballerina (without the over exercised neck and back) that's why.Intense aerobic together with weight lifting is the magical recipe.Joyce is quite inspirational for the women they have given up with the age excuse.This woman is in her almost sixties now and her bone density is like a 25-27 years old girl!Not to mention her killer body..!I was eating everything afterwards without gaining weight for 1year plus.Can you imagine how much my metabolism was transformed that even if I was eating more now,still I was not putting not even 1gram?Amazing workout.Only good memories I have from this book.

Good clear exercise instructions and explanations as to how this programme works. Does - like any plan - require discipline to stick to sensible diet and to do exercises, but it is realistic in what it asks you to do in terms of time and effort. Also makes allowances for those who need a period of adjustment when taking up exercise for the first time or after a long period of inactivity. The diet advice is low fat so a bit old-fashioned compared to more recent low-carb ideas etc, but the basic advice is sound. No silly fads, hard to get "superfoods" or hours and hours of exercise. You will need a gym membership or a bench and dumbbells at home to get the most out of it.

Arrived in perfect condition! This is the only exercise book I have ever found to actually be easy to follow and easy to do!! I would recommend this book to any woman wanting to get started on their own exercise program!
